ACS T3 Camaro

ACS T3 HOOD PORT KIT

Pn 33-4-049

Introducing the ACS-T3 Hood Port self-install kit; the newest and efficient way to upgrade your stock hood. That's right, modify your aluminum hood and save on paint and the hassles with replacement hoods. The ACS-T3 Hood Port self install kit is a 9-piece installation kit to convert the existIng stock hood on your Camaro.

Performance:

The sole performance benefit of the stock Camaro hood is its light weight; it lacks heavily in its other categories. The ACS-T3 Hood Insert converts the original hood to allow the:

Extraction of the engine's hot air
Reduction of body lift at high speed by relieving under hood pressure.
Water to drain towards the front radiator support away from critical engine electronics.
Includes:

Driver and Passenger Outer Port
Driver and Passenger Inner Panel
Driver and Passenger Deflector Plate
Driver and Passenger Octagonal Mesh
Deflector mounting bolts
Templates
Adhesive

The hood ports shown in the images fit a stock hood, in order to install them on a SS9 Hood we will need to design a different inner mounting ring, something we plan on doing.

Looks cool but expensive, especially after paint.

Thanks, hood ports did turn out really great. As this is a media thread I invite you to visit my product post. Hood ports will be offered as an installation kit or you can buy a complete OE Hood from us.

Pricing and availability will be posted when production is kicked off.

Rear quarter ports are in the prototype phase, they were showcased at the Oshawa meet, everybody loved them, we have decided to kick off our tooling and get these to market.

These will be offered as a cosmetic piece or functional with cooling duct work to the rear brakes. Surprisingly enough I found the installation even easier than the bumper ports.

I like it. Think it needs some LED lighting for the vent openings on the front bumper.
