2011 Camaro Convertible Upgrades!!!

Hey Gang.

Looking at selling my 2011 Convertible. I am going to upgrade to the new ZL1. Let me know if anyone in interested in her. Only 300+ miles on her.

Here are some upgrades I've done to my Vert so far hope you guys like them


New Carbon Fiber Hood from Adkins Performance. Contact Will Reeve (805) 319-2159 or PM at Adkins Performance he'll hook you up!!

2010-2011 Chevrolet Camaro AMS Carbon Fiber Hood- This hood only weights 27 lbs. ViS Carbon Fiber Hoods are made from the finest carbon fiber available. Each hood is protected with a UV coating which allows the hood to hold its high glass finish.










New K&N Air Intake



Cut out stock Mufflers and put straight pipes SOund 100% better and costed only $200.00!!!





The Old and the New....




Ordering new rims and tires next!!!

Looks great. Does the cold air intake really make any noticeable difference? You see those claims for 12 to 20 HP improvement, however, is that really documented or just a marketing gimmick? I'd be interested in knowing if anyone has noticed a difference.

Yup make a big difference both in HP, Mileage, and sound. For the cost its a great upgrade option....

I like the hood.
How are the clearances between the hood and fenders. Is the gap greater then the factory hood and are the parallel.

Clearance was pretty good. All I did was remove the factory hood and bolt on the VSI hood. Its a liitle low by the hindges so I may decide to shim it up a little but it hasn't really bothered me yet. The only issue I has was the window washing bracket. I haven't been able to mount it with the hood on the angle is really bad. I recommend mounting before installing the hood.
